Dancing Ganesha - Wall Hanging

Looking at your handmade art adorning the walls of your sweet home is such a nice feeling. When I planned to create a wall hanging I wanted it to be simple yet a classy kind of one and ended up with this.

Materials Required:
The materials you would need for this art is pretty simple and easily available.
  • Handmade paper (or any kind of paper you prefer to use)
  • 3d Liners (I used only WHITE here)
  • Mirrors or mica stone pieces (optional)
Method:
1) I chose handmade paper as it has got a nice texture and I didn't want it very plain. Cut the sheet into a square shape.
2) Draw or trace the design you have chosen and then draw using the 3d liner. As I liked to put mehndi a lot, the 3d liners were such a treat to me while experimenting with the crafts. It gives you a nice 3d effect embossed look.I have used mirror and mica pieces for decoration.
3) Frame it up and hang it on your wall to earn all the praises:)

OHP Sheet Painting- My favi Perumal :)

Tanjore art(painting) is widely admired for its traditional and rich look. It involves a series of steps and can be done only with great patience and a love for the art. As I was a little hesitant to try this great art, I wanted to first get my hands on like a trial. So I started with my comfort zone, the OHP sheet. The OHP sheet is an easy replacement for glass. Just start off as you do with glass painting. I choose my fav deity, Venkateshwara. I was pretty satisfied with the way it turned out to be:)
